Our Departments

Salvation Theatre Choir aka Jesus Worshippers is a ministry that exalts the Lord and change lives through music. Our mission is to worship God, our maker and to win souls for Christ. We have our rehearsals every Saturday at 4pm.

Prayer is one of the most important parts of the ministry. We pray regularly and gather once a month to fast and pray. Holiness is our watch word as without holiness, no one can see the Lord (Hebrews 12: 14)

The evangelism team’s aim is to win more souls for Christ. We go out into the community to share the good news of the gospel every second Sunday after the service. We also meet on a Saturday afternoon once a month to further evangelise.

We are always looking for new and creative ways to spread the gospel and are more than happy to welcome ideas.

The bible says “no one can come to the Son unless the Father draws him”. We give glory to God for the souls that He is touching through the ministry so far and believe that through His grace, we can win many more for Him!

This is a team of prayer champions dedicated to lifting the church up in God’s prayers at all times. This is effectively the engine room of the church as they work endlessly behind the scenes, praying hard for the church, the ministers, the members of the neighbourhood, the city, nations and whatever needs have been brought to their attention specifically.

The Prayer Warriors meet every Thursday between the hours of 6pm   – 9.00pm

The technical department takes care of all the musical instruments and other related equipment in the church. This is done by ensuring the instruments are always in a good state of repairs and that they are readily available during programmes held in church.

The Men’s fellowship of Salvation Theatre, being one of the natural groups, comprises of all married men in the church.

The fellowship is designed to raise vibrant, prayerful, and God-fearing men who are leaders in all facets of life, moreso in their immediate families. We aim to be continuously and constantly equipped and developed to be the men God created us to be. To this end, we meet the 2nd Saturday of every month to discuss real issues that will add value to our lives, families, and the church, from men’s perspectives.

Part of the purpose of these regular meetings is to enable the men to socialise in joyful fellowships and get to know ourselves closely, apart from praying together and interceding for one another, our families, and the church.

We enjoy good friendship, great teachings, and a great prayer support system to help us with our faith and life.

Our Activities:

Weekly: Each Wednesday, we pray together for an hour, from 8.00pm – 9.00pm. In this Prayer Meeting, Women pray in togetherness for our families & loved ones, the church of God and the world around us. Women’s Monthly Meeting: Once a month (generally the last Friday (Night Vigil) or last Saturday (meeting or activity). We meet regularly both formally and informally to celebrate the goodness and mercies of God over our lives. Our meetings are experiences of heartfelt worship, good friendship groups and a refreshing look into God’s Word in a comfortable setting in prayer and togetherness. The aim of our gatherings is to encourage each woman to know that she is valued by God; she can be effective in prayer; and she can make a difference in her world.

We are always looking for new recruits, so if you are passionate about multimedia and have some skills in any one the mentioned areas then please let us know.

The dance department is a ministry aimed at using our talents to praise God in a creative way. We believe that dance can be used as an intsrument to usher down God’s presence and this is what we aim to do every time we minister. Our prayer is pray that each one of our performances uplifts and touches hearts.

The drama department was birthed to edify and uplift souls through creative sketches. All our performances are inspired by the Holy Spirit. We hope to change lives and glorfiy God through our acting.

Our children’s ministry consists of children aged 2-12.

Children are taught in smaller age ranged groups to allow activities to be aged appropriate. Our passion is for children to develop spiritually, as well as emotionally and socially. Children are taught the word of God in a manner that is accessible and relevant to their age range. Our aim is to help children to understand that God has a plan and purpose for them and it is vital for them to have an intimate and personal relationship with Him. As much as children come to church with their parents, they are encouraged to worship God and take charge of their own spiritual growth through activities such as show and tell sessions, singing, writing and performing modern plays based on bible stories, memorising bible verse, playing games such as draw your sword, among other activities.

Here at Salvation Theatre, we are training our children to be the great, chosen people that God has purposed for them to be.

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV): “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
